Rosenildo Gomes Garcia, 33 years old, known as “Estrela”, was arrested on Thursday (25) and identified as having ordered the murder of Jonatas Amorim Anastácio, who was 25 years old. The crime was committed on Monday (22), on Rua 5 de Setembro, in Coari, in the interior of Amazonas.
According to delegate José Barradas, the victim was working as a motorcycle taxi and was waiting for a passenger at the scene, when two suspects arrived on a motorcycle and one of them fired five shots at Jonatas.
“The investigations showed that the shooter and the driver of the motorcycle were at the behest of “Estrela”, a suspect who is involved in drug trafficking in Coari”, he explained.
According to the delegate, investigations continue to identify Rosenildo’s associates.
Rosenildo Gomes Garcia will be charged with murder and will be available to the courts.
