Ari Aguiar

Born in Belo Horizonte, Ari Aguiar is known for narrating sports such as basketball, baseball and American football for ESPN channels.

Ari Aguiar has been with the broadcaster since 2007. Previously, he worked on radio stations Capital, LBV and Transamérica, in addition to working as a typist for the column of former player Tostão, Cruzeiro’s idol, for five years.

In 2022, the communicator gave an interview to the podcast Let’s go to the review and said he “doesn’t like football, but Cruzeiro”.

“I don’t like football, football is not my sport. I like Cruzeiro. I only watch Cruzeiro games, I can’t watch Manchester United x Liverpool. I don’t realize it anymore, I don’t see it. Now we can see Cruzeiro x Novorizontino.”

South American Cruise

O cruise achieved their first victory in the 2024 Copa Sudamericana by beating Alliance by 3 to 0.

With the result, Raposa reached six points and momentarily took second place in Group B.

Cruzeiro, however, awaits the result of Universidad Católica (Ecuador) x Unión La Calera (Chile) to know in which position they will finish the round. The teams play this Thursday (9/5), at 11pm (Brasília time), at the Atahualpa Olympic Stadium, in Quito.

The Minas Gerais club will return to play in the South American Championship on May 16, at 9pm, when they will face La Calera, from Chile, in the fifth round of the international tournament. The match will take place at Independência because Mineirão will host a show on the 17th.
