The man recording the scene claims he is the brother of the person being approached. He asks the agents what the order is. One of the PMs responds that he is supposed to “put your hands behind your back and follow orders”. Then he says that the police went too far and that he is recording everything. Another abusive action by police”, denounced the deputy in a publication on X.

In the images, you can hear the owner of the property. “He’s a good person, he’s a good tenant,” said the woman who appears in the video asking the two military police officers to calm down. O UOL tries to contact the man approached. The space remains open for demonstrations.

The Military Police clarified that it had initiated a procedure to investigate the approach. The corporation declared that it did not condones misconduct or excesses on the part of its agents. He also said that he severely punishes those who fail to comply with the institution’s protocols. “The images conveyed by the report, as well as those from operational cameras, are being analyzed. The appropriate administrative and legal measures will be adopted in the face of irregularities”, says a note sent to UOL.
