Rival of Flamengo in the 3rd phase of the Copa do Brasil, the Amazonas FC announced a famous reinforcement this Thursday (25).
On its social networks, the Manaus club confirmed the arrival of the striker Tooth35 years old.
Dentinho, which was revealed by Corinthians and won Copa do Brasil and Paulistão with the club, he had been without a team since leaving Cearáin October 2022.
After more than a year without playing, he will now return to action at Amazonas, which competes in the Serie B and will soon face Fla in the CBF knockout tournament.
In the new team, Dentinho will find a front line full of “medallions”, such as center forwards Sassá, ex-Cruzeiro and Botafogo, and Jô, ex-Corinthians and Atlético-MG.
In his career, the striker also had a long spell at Shakhtar Donetskfrom Ukraine, for which he won a truckload of titles between 2011 and 2021.
The athlete also defended the Besiktasfrom Türkiye, on loan, in 2013.
He arrives at the new team with the mission of keeping the “Onça Pintada” in the national Series B, in addition to doing well against Rubro-Negro in the Copa do Brasil.
The 1st duel against the Rio giant is scheduled for next Wednesday (1st), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
The return will be on May 22, at Arena da Amazônia.
