The 41-year-old man, who tried to kill his wife and a friend in Foz do Iguaçu, in western Paraná, was arrested in Ibateguara, in Alagoas, last Thursday (2).
The action was carried out by police officers from Alagoas through an integrated work of sharing information with agents from Paraná. The arrest warrant was issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of Foz do Iguaçu.
Once the whereabouts were identified, the police launched a police operation to capture the individual.
The crime
The crime took place in the Panorama neighborhood, in Foz do Iguaçu. On that occasion, the perpetrator fired firearms at the victims, who were sleeping at the time. Due to the attack, the woman lost her right eyeball.
During the investigations, investigators revealed who was responsible for the crime. The Civil Police represented the preventive arrest of the suspect, which was authorized by the Judiciary.
At the time, despite their efforts, the team was unable to locate the alleged perpetrator, however the searches resulted in the location of the individual in Alagoas, where he was arrested and awaiting transfer procedures.
