Tocantins News – The Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Services of Tocantins (Sics), Carlos Humberto Lima, signed the tax incentive agreement for the company Vale do Tocantins S/A, in the meatpacking sector, during the EPOCA Fair, in Araguaína, this Wednesday morning (24).
The granting of tax incentives, in the Proindústria modality, was approved at the last ordinary meeting of the Economic Development Council (CDE), held on the 17th. The forecast is that, with the benefits, the company will generate more than 150 direct jobs in the municipality of Colinas do Tocantins.
The representative of Frigorifico Vale do Tocantins, Ruddy Alves, highlighted the work carried out by the government team. “We thank everyone who was involved in this process to make everything work out. Now it’s time to work and generate more jobs and income”he said.
The secretary and president of the CDE, Carlos Humberto, reaffirmed the council’s work in the economic development of Tocantins. “Every project or request for tax incentives is carefully analyzed, always aiming to provide a return for the population of Tocantins. Our goal is to boost the economy, generate jobs and income for everyone”concluded.
