The new computerized system to handle the registrations and re-registrations of rural establishments, technical responsible professionals, classifier professionals and others within the Precoce MS Program is available. Procedures can be carried out through the e-Fazenda Portal at the link eservicos.sefaz.ms.gov.br.
According to Semadesc’s Sustainable Development Secretary, Rogério Beretta, the Precoce/MS Program has undergone a modernization process and now has new operating rules, aiming to increase the value of rural establishments that contribute to the production of animals with carcass quality higher.
“The objective is to increasingly encourage good agricultural practices, applying techniques to improve the environmental, economic and social sustainability of the activity, as well as biosecurity, animal welfare, animal health and advances in the individual health management of the southern herd. Mato Grosso”, he explained.
The new measures provide that all responsible technical professionals already registered in the Program must re-register so that they can qualify again and be able to register and re-register rural establishments under their responsibility.
To register or re-register, the professional must complete the Training Course for Technical Responsible Professionals of Precoce/MS, through the Escolagov Platform, in which case, they must attach their Certificate of participation in the system.
Through the “Conformity Precocious Protocol”, producers must inform in a more transparent way how sustainable and socially and environmentally organized the properties that produce precocious animals are.
“Mato Grosso do Sul currently has many young animals produced within this program and from now on, with this modernization, we will be able to show the process, show that these farms are sustainable in all aspects. The incentive now comes to 50% for the animal and 50% for the property, the evaluation will be conducted by the accredited Association and audited by a third-party company, it is something that only adds and brings even more credibility to the protocol”, points out Rafael Gratão , president of Novilho Precoce MS, an association accredited to apply the assessment to participating properties.
A significant change is the transition from evaluating self-declaration properties to completing a checklist with more than 80 items. “It is important to highlight that the program will remain active; however, all producers will automatically be included in the mandatory level. For those who wish to advance to the next level, the responsible technician (RT) must complete the check list through the Novilho system and request a visit, which is why SEMADESC, through Escola Gov, is carrying out training to refresh these technicians with the new information. of the program”, explains Novilho’s superintendent, Alexandre Guimarães.
Gratão also highlights that tests have already been carried out and the new program is ready to be implemented. “This modernization can open up new opportunities for meat produced in the State, and the reinforced partnership with representative associations, such as Novilho Precoce MS, promises to further strengthen the livestock sector in Mato Grosso do Sul”, he concludes.
