Registration is open until June 2nd for the Circulações Literárias da Bahia call for proposals, promoted by the Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia, a unit linked to Secult-BA. 10 proposals for literary circulation will be selected, with a prize of R$ 20 thousand, for the dissemination of word artists from Bahia and distribution of their literary productions throughout the state.

The notice has two possible formats: Circulation of Word Artists (the artist circulates with his literary production in at least two municipalities) and Literary Youtubers, Booktubers or Influencers from Bahia, which aims to value and strengthen promotional and dissemination of literature produced in Bahia in virtual spaces (Youtube, Instagram and TikTok).

30% of vacancies will be reserved for racial quotas for black applicants (black or mixed race) and 10% for indigenous people. The period for executing the proposed proposals will be from October 2024 to March 2025.

Launch and Live

On April 26th, the Conversation Round for the Launch of the Notice took place, at the Bahia Book Biennial, with four artists awarded in the Diálogos Artísticos 2023 notice – Decolonial Literary Circulations Category.

On May 22nd, at 7pm, there will be a live on Funceb’s Instagram to present the notice, and for another conversation with other award-winning artists in the Decolonial Literary Circulations category of the Diálogos Artísticos 2023 notice.
