The State Department of Education, Culture and Sports (SEE), through the Acre Music School (Emac), begins the series of concerts of the Nossa Música project, in Rio Branco.
The first show will be this Friday, 3rd, at 6:30 pm, in the auditorium of the music education unit. The night’s artists will be teachers who work at the institution.
“Every month we will have artists who will perform here at the Acre Music School, and there is nothing better than starting with the institution’s own teachers, who, in addition to their daily work in the classroom, are also excellent musicians”, highlights the coordinator -general of Emac, Afonso Portela.
In total, 15 teachers will be performing on the Acre Music School stage, presenting repertoires that include songs from Brazilian Popular Music, Bossa Nova classics, instrumental themes, rock ‘n’ roll hits and pop hits.
“We invite the population to attend the opening of the Nossa Música project, which, in addition to encouraging and promoting artists from Acre, is a mechanism to remunerate musicians for the show presented and assist in the maintenance of our equipment and musical instruments”, highlights Afonso Portela.
Tickets have a symbolic value of R$10 and can be purchased in advance through this link or purchased in person at the time of the concert. The Acre Music School is located at Avenida Central, 92, Tucumã neighborhood, in the capital of Acre.
