A guard was shot dead in Marituba, in Greater Belém, this Wednesday (24). The crime occurred in front of a scrap metal shop located at km 16 of BR=316, a highway that passes through the city.
The action was recorded by a monitoring camera. At the top of the video you can see when the two criminals arrive on a motorcycle.
The vehicle is parked and only the passenger gets out, sneaks behind a wall and then shoots the guard, who was sitting, with no chance of defense.
Soon after, the criminal who shot the worker goes towards him and takes the gun from his waist.

Even with the victim in agony, the accomplice, who was riding the motorcycle, approaches and shoots the guard twice more. After the execution, the pair fled.
According to reports, there is a suspicion that the victim was mistaken for a public security agent.
In a statement, the Civil Police (PC) informed that the case is being investigated by the Homicide Division and that experts have been requested to assist in the investigations. Furthermore, the corporation announced that monitoring cameras near the location will be used to help identify and locate those involved in the crime.
