A nurse died during a collision between the motorcycle she was riding and an animal in the Bahian municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa. The accident occurred near Agrovila 1 on Saturday night (4) on BR-349, around 7pm. See video here
The victim was riding a red Honda Titan when he was surprised by a loose horse that was crossing the track. According to information from the region’s website, the impact was so strong that the motorcyclist and the animal died at the scene of the accident.

The website Notícias da Lapa said that the victim was a resident of Agrovila 6, in the rural area of Serra do Ramalho, a municipality neighboring Bom Jesus da Lapa. In a statement, Serra do Ramalho City Hall lamented the death of Sabrine Araújo, also an employee of its Secretary of Health.
The website also highlighted the constant accidents with animals on the BR-349 between the municipalities of Bom Jesus da Lapa and Santa Maria da Vitória and on the BA-161 which crosses the municipality of Serra do Ramalho. The website also noted that the owners of the animals are not identified.
There is no information about the burial of the victim, who, according to information from third parties, leaves behind a son.
