After 20 years, PPGG career is once again reinforced with 220 nominees

The public administration of the Federal District will receive the reinforcement of 220 candidates for the positions of analyst and manager in Public Policies and Government Management (PPGG). The arrival of these civil servants was greatly celebrated, as there had been no career calling for almost 20 years.

The announcement took place during a ceremony at Palácio do Buriti this Wednesday (24), when the appointment was signed by governor Ibaneis Rocha. Now, the GDF intends to allocate these employees to regional administrations, secretariats and the Fundação Jardim Zoológico de Brasília.

PPGG servers are multifunctional and support multiple careers. They assist in day-to-day public administration, from purchasing materials, planning, human resources, legal matters and also accounting. Therefore, they are considered essential for the functioning of the public sector.

When speaking about the appointment, Governor Ibaneis Rocha highlighted the importance of these professionals. “When we make this appointment we are looking at the population, especially the most needy who are at the edge in need of care. And then, you have this responsibility to provide this service,” he said.

The 220 analysts and managers at PPGG arrive to add to the more than 21.6 thousand permanent employees called up by the GDF since 2019. The appointment will include 150 approved for the position of analyst in Public Policies and Government Management; and another 70 for the role of manager in Public Policies and Government Management.

“This appointment reflects this administration’s commitment to investing in the present and future of public administration. We also need to highlight here that the inauguration of these employees is not an isolated event, it is part of a continuous effort by the GDF to strengthen, improve and modernize the local public service. Our budget already foresees this investment and the governor has already determined that we call on more career civil servants in October”, says the Secretary of Economy, Ney Ferraz.

For the year 2024, the financial impact is estimated at R$21.4 million. The forecast for 2025 is more than R$30 million. The list of new servers should be published next week on Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF).

In the last three months, the Chief Executive appointed 1,203 new permanent employees in various careers. The calls strengthen, reconstitute and expand the staff of the departments of Health, Education, Penitentiary Administration, Social Development and Agriculture, Supply and Rural Development, in addition to the Civil Police, the Water Regulatory Agency (Adasa), the Social Security Institute for Civil Servants, Federal District (Iprev) and the Public Defender’s Office of the Federal District.

Holder of the portfolio responsible for taking care of regional administrations, the Government Secretary, José Humberto Pires de Araújo, reinforced how essential the career is to serve the population of a capital with 35 administrative regions, considered as mini-prefectures.

“I’m here as the voice of the regional administrators to bring their happiness and gratitude with this group that will give new energy and a new face to the administrations. One of the government’s objectives is to strengthen the end, where the population is served, and this end is in the regional administrations”, celebrated José Humberto Pires de Araújo.

On the other hand, from those who represent the servers, the feeling is also one of gratitude. President of the Union of Civil Servants of the Direct Administration (Sindireta-DF), Ibrahim Yusef praised the appointment that had not occurred for almost two decades. “The Lord [governador Ibaneis Rocha] is taking care to provide a good public service to society, which requires so much. This represents the strengthening of a career that takes care of this machine called GDF”, he pointed out.
