The government of Pernambuco launched, this Wednesday (24), an online platform with 10 thousand places in free professional training courses for young people aged 14 to 29. The site has 15 training areas in technology, marketing and entrepreneurship, which will be offered permanently, at any time (see list below). Registration can now be done online.
According to vice-governor Priscila Krause (Citizenship), the project, which is part of the Youth Qualification Journey program, is carried out in partnership with the NGO Junior Achievement, which works in the area of professional qualification for young people.
“With this cooperation agreement, we begin to offer young people from Pernambuco, with a focus on Young Apprentices, 10 thousand places in 15 different courses, free of charge, at a distance. And they will, at the end, have a certification. These 15 courses will be available provision so that young people can choose as many as they want to do and, with that, complete their training”, explained Krause.
Among the options, there are improvement courses, with up to 100 class hours; qualification, with up to 500 class hours; and technicians, for those who want to pursue a profession, starting at 800 class hours.

“[Pode participar] any young person aged 14 to 29, whether they are in the public network, in the private network or are not studying. The important thing is the qualification of young people at this age”, stated the Secretary of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship, Amanda Aires.
