Mother and 1-year-old son die in collision between two vehicles on BR-163 in the interior of MS | Mato Grosso do Sul

A woman and her 1-year-old son died in an accident between two vehicles on Tuesday night (23), on BR-163, in São Gabriel do Oeste, northern region of Mato Grosso do Sul.

According to the Civil Police, a pickup truck with five passengers collided with the back of a car, which was in the same lane, where there were four people. After the collision, both vehicles left the road and rolled down an embankment.

The CCR MS via concessionaire was called and provided first aid to the victims. The woman and child who died were passengers in the car. The other occupants of the vehicles were taken to the municipal hospital and two women, passengers in the truck, with more serious conditions were brought to Campo Grande.

The Civil Police opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
