During the ordinary session this Tuesday (23) at the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre (Aleac), deputy Eduardo Ribeiro (PSD) gave a speech highlighting the relevance of the Acre Business Forum for Innovation and Development, after participating in a meeting with the Federation of Industries of Acre.

Ribeiro highlighted that the Forum, made up of several thematic chambers, aims to discuss the development of the State by strengthening the industrial sector. The parliamentarian emphasized the need to advance public investment to strengthen local companies, generating jobs and income for the population.

During his speech, he highlighted the importance of bringing this discussion to Parliament, emphasizing the need to strengthen the Business Forum and implement measures that boost private initiative in Acre.

Ribeiro made his mandate available to the Federation of Industry. “My mandate is always to support these causes. I also express my hope that my parliamentary colleagues will also support the strengthening of the industrial sector and the creation of jobs in Acre”, he pointed out.

In response to accusations from Congresswoman Michelle Melo, Eduardo Ribeiro highlights the Health Department’s commitment to the continuity of MediTrauma services

Eduardo Ribeiro, who is deputy government leader at Aleac, responded to the accusations made by Michelle Melo in relation to the government’s contract with MediTrauma and shared information about the conduct adjustment agreement signed between the Department of Health and the Public Ministry of State.

Ribeiro informed that the Secretary of Health, Dr. Pedro Pascoal, signed the Conduct Adjustment Term with the Public Ministry on April 19, committing to several points to guarantee the continuity of the services offered by MediTrauma, especially in the area of orthopedics.

“One of the important points of this agreement is to ensure that there is no interruption in services, as we know the problems that may arise if the orthopedics service is interrupted”, highlighted the parliamentarian.

According to the conduct adjustment term, one of the contracts, referring to the recognition of a debt of R$11 million, will only be paid after the conclusion of an audit carried out by the State Audit Court (TCE). The other contract, intended to avoid interruption of services, will have its outstanding installments paid, but only up to 70%, reserving 30% for possible compensation if irregularities are identified after analysis by the controllership and the TCE.

Furthermore, the secretary committed not to extend the contract and to carry out the bidding process within 120 days, thus ensuring the continuity of services in a transparent manner and in accordance with the legislation.

Finally, Eduardo Ribeiro emphasized the importance of transparency in the process and made the conduct adjustment term available to anyone who wishes to have access, highlighting the Health Department’s commitment to ensuring the population’s access to essential health services, especially in the area of orthopedics.
