The couple published the story on social media this Tuesday (23). After repercussions on social media, the Jurgenfeld studio, a store located in Pederneiras, in the interior of São Paulo, published a note of repudiation on social media.

The store justified that it follows Christian principles “regardless of the opinion of the majority of society”. “Here, in our company, we believe in the family as it is, and we are not asking anyone who believes otherwise to change their thinking or positioning”, continues the text.

In a video published on Instagram, those responsible for the company explain that they have been denying services to homosexual couples for two years. “But today was the last straw. We were retaliated against by a couple who did not accept our position, our opinion, and have actually made comments on our Instagram, saying that homophobia is a crime (…) We position ourselves like this , and we are being labeled homophobic. We have to accept what they are, but people cannot accept that we choose to do things this way and work this way”, says one of the studio’s owners.
