Rio Grande do Sul had a Tuesday of sun, clouds and rain. The instability affected more locations in the Northwest and North of the state. In much of the Gaucho territory, however, the sun appeared with clouds. In the early evening of Tuesday, new areas of isolated instability were forming in the interior with localized rain.
The presence of the sun favored a greater increase in temperature in the east of Rio Grande do Sul. The maximum in the state in the official network of the National Institute of Meteorology was 29.4ºC, a mark observed in both Campo Bom and Camaquã. Porto Alegre reached 29ºC.
There is a change, however, planned for part of the state of Rio Grande do Sul this Wednesday. A pocket of colder air that will pass along the coast and touch the state will end up entering part of Rio Grande do Sul during the day, preventing maximum temperatures as high as today’s in the capital, metropolitan region and other areas.
This Wednesday morning there is instability in different areas of Rio Grande do Sul with irregular rain, but throughout the day the arrival of milder and drier air will move the rain further towards Santa Catarina, which will cause it to rain in some areas. of the North and Northeast of Rio Grande do Sul.
During this Wednesday, however, much of the state should have steady weather with sun and clouds. This should also be the case in Porto Alegre, which will see the sun accompanied by clouds throughout Wednesday, although instability will not be ruled out at the beginning of the day in the region.
The arrival of milder air brings lower temperatures mainly in the Center, South and East of the state, where it is cooler with the minimum temperatures occurring at night, at the end of the day, with temperatures between 13ºC and 15ºC in different parts of these regions. Several cities in the South and Campanha should have maximum temperatures of just 21ºC to 23ºC.
The influence of milder air will be limited, as the atmosphere will remain warmer in the Northwest and North of the state. Furthermore, warmer air will advance to Rio Grande do Sul on Friday with a sharp rise in temperature in some regions and instability in others.
The colder air entering part of the state this Wednesday will be responsible for a colder morning on Thursday. The Campaign and the border with Uruguay should have minimum temperatures of 10ºC to 12ºC, but in some points the temperature may drop below 10ºC. Porto Alegre can be around 14ºC, but in the south of the city it can be less. In the mountains, the minimum temperatures should be around 10ºC to 12ºC.
