The departure of director Hugo de Sousa from the recordings of Dona Beja marked a turnaround behind the scenes of the soap opera. Thiago Teitelroit, son of the artistic director of Terra e Paixão, was called in to replace him, aiming to improve the environment and guarantee the quality of the project.
