State Agency for the Regulation of Public Services of Mato Grosso do Sul (AGEMS), responsible for regulating and supervising the MS-306 Concession Contract, authorized the Way-306 Concessionaire of Rodovia MS-306 to readjust the basic and axle tariffs on the three toll plazas on the MS-306 in Costa Rica, Chapadão do Sul and Cassilândia, in force since April 9.

The value of the basic tariff and tariffs per vehicle category were also approved by the Agency. The basic tariff (category 1) is applied to passenger vehicles; other vehicle categories have different prices (See table).

Tariff and contract fulfillment – As AGEMS explains, the value of R$ 12.20 for a passenger vehicle (basic tariff) corresponds to the variation in the adjustment index for the period of one year, as provided for in the Concession Contract. This adjustment updates the value of the basic tariff in force (R$ 11.80) to the current date, with the effective start of toll collection.

It is worth mentioning that Ordinance AGEMS 270 of April 2, 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, approving the adjustment of the toll rate on MS-306, occurs after the concessionaire meets the prerequisites required in the Contract grant.
