The Civil Police are investigating the allegation of gang rape against a young foreign woman in a nightclub in Lapa, in the center of Rio de Janeiro.
According to initial information, the victim went to a private area with a man he had met at the nightclub. Upon arriving in space, she was attacked by other suspects.
The young woman reported having lost consciousness during the crime, which raised the suspicion that she had been drugged through the drink she drank, according to the police. RECORD.
The case was registered at DEAM (Women’s Assistance Police Station). Agents look for images from security cameras and other elements that help identify the perpetrators of the crime.
In a statement, the nightclub said that it vehemently repudiates the events reported and made itself available to the authorities so that the facts can be immediately investigated and clarified.
Furthermore, he reported that he provided the police with images from the location’s camera circuit, along with the details of customers who had put their names on the list or purchased tickets in advance.
