Public servant Luciano da Silva Patrício, aged 48, died on Tuesday afternoon (02), after being crushed by a backhoe while working, in the town of Santa Lúcia, in Santa Leopoldina, in the Serrana region of Espírito Santo.
According to the military police, a witness said that the worker was climbing the hill with the machine when it turned off and started going down. The backhoe then tipped over and fell on top of the victim.
Santa Leopoldina City Hall, through social media, published a three-day official note of condolence and mourning due to Luciano’s death.
“The Municipality of Santa Leopoldina expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the server Luciano da Silva Patrício, who died in a work accident”, says the note.
The city hall also declared an optional point in the municipality, this Wednesday (03), due to the death of a public servant.
