Uesc hosts the Seminar of the Network of Pro-Rectors of Research, Postgraduate Studies and Innovation in Bahia

The State University of Santa Cruz (Uesc) hosts, this Monday (01/04) and Tuesday (02), the Seminar of the Network of Pro-Rectors of Research, Postgraduate Studies and Innovation of Bahia (REPROPPI), which takes place in the auditorium of the Scientific and Technological Park of Southern Bahia (PTCSul), at the headquarters of the Institute of Physical-Chemical Research and Analysis (IPAF), located on the university campus.

The event brings together coordinators and pro-rectors of research and postgraduate studies from higher education institutions in Bahia, with the aim of strengthening internal dialogue and raising the demands of the pro-rectors regarding the main needs of Research, Postgraduate Studies and Innovation in the state of Bahia.

Organized by the Pro-Rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies at Uesc, the seminar will be attended by Professor Robério Rodrigues Silva, coordinator of REPROPPI and Pro-Rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies at the State University of Southern Bahia, and will have a table debate with Handerson Jorge Dourado Leite, general director of the Bahia Research Support Foundation (Fapesb).

The program also includes a debate with members of the three areas of the Higher Education Technical-Scientific Council of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CTC-CAPES), Evanilde Benedito, Hypolito José Kalinowski and Ângelo Ricardo de Souza, with professor Robério as the mediator. The Bahia Network of Deans of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Innovation has a strategic role in the management of research in the State and aims to contribute to the topic with the various bodies responsible for funding, such as the Research Support Foundation of the State of Bahia (FAPESB). The vice-rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies at Uesc, professor Fernanda Amato Gaiotto, defends work to strengthen the institutional network and the creation of networks of research groups.
