Power outages interrupted supply in municipalities in Bahia

Embasa informs that, due to power outages and failures in two pieces of equipment that make up the region’s supply system, water supply has been suspended since early this morning (01) in the municipalities of Anguera, Serra Preta, in the rural area of ​​Ipecaetá and in the districts of Jaguara and Bonfim de Feira, belonging to Feira de Santana. Coelba has already restored the power supply, but Embasa is still making the necessary repairs to equipment damaged during the power fluctuations and outages.

The expectation is that the supply can be resumed later today, at the end of the night, gradually in the affected municipalities and locations. The company recommends the economical use of water until the supply is completely normalized.
