The driver of the Porsche, valued at R$1 million, Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, aged 24, who killed the driver of a Renault Sanderoin the early hours of Sunday (31), in the East Zone of São Paulo, is being sought by the Civil Police. He fled the scene of the accident, in Tatuapé, with the help of his mother, Daniela Cristina de Medeiros Andrade.

According to the police report, she removed her son from the scene saying she would take him to a hospital in Ibirapuera due to an injury to his mouth. However, the police do not confirm that they were admitted to the health unit.

Fernando is a real estate businessman, in which the family has been active since the early 1990s, and a civil engineering student at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in the capital of São Paulo. He is a partner in at least two companies.

The oldest of them is FF Andrade Serviços Administrativos Ltda., founded in November 2018, when he was 18 years old. The company’s share capital, which provides office and administrative support services, is R$100,000.

Another project in which the Porsche driver is part of the company is called Sastre Empreendimentos Imobiliários, founded in October 2020. This company has a share capital of R$430,000 and acts as a developer of real estate projects.

The oldest business registered in the family is in the name of the Porsche driver’s father, Fernando Sastre de Andrade. Created in September 1993, F. Andrade is a distributor of iron and steel for civil construction.

The company’s revenue is up to R$2.4 million. The father is also a partner in Irmãos Andrade Construtora e Incorporadora, founded in June 2012.

The accident

The accident happened around 2am on Easter Sunday, on an avenue in Tatuapé, in São Paulo. Witnesses reported that the Porsche was speeding on the road at up to 50 km/h.

The victim Ornaldo da Silva Viana, 52 years old, who worked as an app driver, was in a Renault Sandero, which was hit by the Porsche. He was taken to a hospital in Tatuapé, but he succumbed to his injuries and died.

He had a cardiorespiratory arrest at the scene of the accident. The man was alone in the vehicle. Witnesses also reported that the Porsche driver overtook dangerously before hitting the Sandero.

A 22-year-old young man, who was also in the Porsche, was injured and was taken to a hospital in Tatuapé. There is no information about his health status.

The case is being investigated as culpable homicide, when there is no intention to kill, culpable bodily harm while driving a motor vehicle and fleeing the scene of the accident.
