Petrobras will launch the largest edition of the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program, with a record number of vacancies available. There will be more than a thousand vacancies in 13 states and the Federal District, covering all regions of Brazil, which represents an increase of more than 50% compared to what was offered in the last edition. Registration can be made from April 5th to 12th, at this link.

According to the company, a distinguishing feature of this edition is that it offers two types of learning: basic professional learning, which lasts 15 months, or the technical course, lasting 20 months, both carried out by the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai) with theoretical and practical classes. The initiative also includes learning experiences at Petrobras units. Thus, young apprentices can obtain, at the end of the program, a technical-professional training diploma, being able to compete for technical-level vacancies in the job market.

The program has a quota of 10% for people with disabilities (PWD), 15% for teenagers who have left child labor, and 10% for teenagers in institutional care, such as shelters, halfway houses and inclusive residences. On an experimental basis, 20 apprentices will also be included in socio-educational measures.

The vacancies will be allocated to Manaus, Salvador, São Sebastião do Passé (BA), Fortaleza, Brasília, Vitória, Betim (MG), Três Lagoas (MS), Ipojuca (PE), Recife, Curitiba, Natal, Canoas (RS), Aracaju, Cubatão (SP), Mauá (SP), Paulínia (SP), Santos (SP), São José dos Campos (SP), São Paulo, Duque de Caxias (RJ), Macaé (RJ), Rio de Janeiro and São Gonçalo (RJ).

It also includes, for the first time, a technical course in renewable energy systems, seeking to prepare young people for the new demands that arise with the energy transition.

Apprentices hired by Petrobras will have the benefits of minimum wage, transportation voucher, thirteenth salary, vacation, payment of the Service Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS) and the possibility of joining the health benefit (Gympass).

To apply for the basic learning course, young people must be between 14 years old and 22 years and 8 months old. For the technician course, the required age ranges from 14 years to 22 years and 3 months. The maximum age does not apply to PCD candidates.
