Cruzeiro do Sul will receive greater funding from the Union to comply with the national nursing minimum

The Ministry of Health announced today an ordinance that details the amounts allocated to the March 2024 installment of the Union’s Complementary Financial Assistance (AFC), aimed at complying with the National Nursing Floor in states, municipalities and the Federal District.

In the state of Acre, more than R$2.3 million will be directed, with an amount of R$1.2 million allocated to the 22 municipalities in Acre. Cruzeiro do Sul stands out with the largest individual transfer of R$252,096.86, followed by Sena Madureira with R$118,010.89 and Senador Guiomard with R$75,827.78. The capital Rio Branco is expected to receive a total of R$ 13,261.48.

The Union’s AFC is operated by the Ministry of Health, establishing criteria so that states, municipalities, the DF and philanthropic entities comply with the nursing minimum, with a minimum of 60% of patients served by the SUS.
