The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) announced, this Thursday (28), the list of mandatory readings for the 2025 Entrance Exam. Four works were included in the list, which has 12 items. See the full list below.

The writer said “moved” with choosing the book for the entrance exam.

“Lots of joy, people! The book is getting where it needs to be: in the hands of students,” he wrote on a social network.

The State Department of Education of RS stated that it had not decided to remove the book from the catalog of works available for high school students. According to the Ministry of Education, the novel was chosen by the school itself to be part of the collection.
