Seduc warns of scam with the nest egg program app in Amazonas

Manaus/AM – The State Department of Education and School Sports of Amazonas, issued this Thursday (28), a warning to parents and guardians of students about a scam that simulates the Government’s Pé-de-Meia Program application Federal.

In order to access the benefit, it is not necessary to pay any registration fee. Access to the student account must be done exclusively through registration on the official Caixa Econômica app and on the institution’s official website, free of charge.

Guardians and students are asked not to share personal data on unofficial websites and to monitor information on the official channels of the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Department of Education.

If any beneficiary of the Pé-de-Meia Program is harmed, they must register the Police Report in person at any police station or online. Complaints will be forwarded to the Specialized Police Station for the Repression of Cybercrimes (DERCC).
