Rewards program associated with Play Pass, O Google Play Points will be launched in Brazil “still in 2024”. The confirmation was given by big tech during the Games Developer Summit event, held a few days ago, when the company also revealed that the initiative has more than 220 million users globally.
Currently available in more than 30 markets, Play Points allows the Google Play Pass subscribers accumulate points when purchasing apps, games, movies, books and other content available in the official Android store. Actions carried out in free applications are also valid for increasing the score.

These points accumulated during interactions with the platform ecosystem can be exchanged for various benefits, such as redeeming special items offered in games and apps. Other possibilities are to use them to rent movies from the Play Store or buy an audiobook.
As Google explains, subscribers Earn even more points as you advance in level, from Bronze to Platinum, also being entitled to receive weekly prizes. For developers, the program allows you to increase engagement, in addition to helping to retain current users and reach new ones.
How much does Google Play Pass cost?
Offering access to hundreds of ad-free games and apps on Android, Play Pass in Brazil can be purchased through a monthly or annual subscription. In the first format, the subscriber pays R$9.90 each month, while in the second there is a one-off charge of R$89.99, making it possible to use the service for 12 months.
According to Google, the number of users has grown significantly in recent months, presenting increase of more than 120% compared to last year. The company also said that it will implement improvements to the platform, in addition to giving more emphasis to updates, new content and promotions in apps and games.
The service now includes discounts and items in popular games such as EA Sports FC Mobile, Mobile Subtitles: Bang Bang, Monopoly GO! It is Roblox. Another new feature is the arrival of Play Pass in South Koreauntil the end of 2024.
