A 27-year-old young man died after colliding with a car, this Saturday morning (27), at kilometer 7 of the AM-070 highway, which connects Manaus to Manacapuru, in the interior of Amazonas.
The Military Police say that at the time of the accident, the motorcyclist hit the side of a car, which was making an irregular maneuver while trying to take the opposite side of the road to enter an establishment. As a result of the collision, the motorcycle caught fire. The motorcyclist died at the scene. See video.
Images of the accident show the victim on the road while a man tries to put out the motorcycle’s flames with a fire extinguisher. In the right corner, you can also see a silver car with broken sides and headlights.
The Legal Medical Institute (IML) was called to remove the body. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Manaus by the police.
The case was registered at the 31st Integrated Police District (DIP), in Iranduba, and will undergo investigation.
