The agreement was signed late this Wednesday afternoon (27), at the headquarters of the SSP (Secretariat of State for Public Security).

The document was signed by the Attorney General of Justice, Fábio de Souza Trajano, and the Secretary of State for Public Security, Sergeant Lima.

The initiative will not only provide MPSC members, employees and police officers with broader access to SISP functionalities, but will also guarantee data security and transparency in resource management.

This agreement represents a significant advance for public security in Santa Catarina, promising positive impacts on the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations in the state. For the Attorney General of Justice, this moment is very important for Santa Catarina society, for the Public Ministry and for the state security bodies.

“An important moment for Santa Catarina society. Today the Public Ministry, the Public Security Secretariat and the State security bodies endorse this important agreement with some significant improvements. With it, we will perform with even more excellence. We are grateful for the willingness of the Security Secretariat and the internal bodies of the SSP that facilitated the signing of this partnership”, highlighted Trajano, during the signing of the agreement.

Trajano praised the historic partnership with the Public Security Secretariat and the security forces, highlighting the investments of more than R$60 million directed by the Public Ministry through the Fund for the Reconstitution of Injured Assets in 2023.

And it recognizes that the results obtained by the institutions would not be possible without this synergy and integrated action, therefore, it reinforces the MPSC’s commitment to the equipment and development of security forces.

For the Secretary of State for Public Security, this agreement meets the need of the people of Santa Catarina, which is to assist the Public Ministry and the Public Security Secretariat by presenting what is best.

“We are making taxpayers’ money return to them in the best way possible, which is through the provision of services. We are showing indisputably the preciousness of the work done by the Public Ministry, the Public Security Secretariat and the state government, which now works hand in hand with the people of Santa Catarina”, he added.

In addition to highlighting the importance of SISP in the activities carried out by the MPSC, the Coordinator of the Technical Operational Support Center, prosecutor George André Franzoni Gil, highlighted the advances obtained from the unprecedented improvement of the agreement.

According to him, the MPSC now has access to numerous functionalities and information, such as monitoring processes since the police incident, access to reports and the possibility of managing profiles within the system.

“It is worth highlighting the excellent relationship between the MPSC and the SSP that culminated in this new format of agreement, guaranteeing great advances in the fight against narco-crime. Without a doubt, this integration and union of forces only produces benefits for institutions and, mainly, for society”, recognizes Gil.
