Ricardo Costa, former participant of the group Polegar, was disqualified from the reality show A Grande Conquista 2, on Record, last Saturday morning (27). The artist was disqualified for picking up a knife during an argument with another villain, as participants in the initial phase of the reality show are called.

As published by Record and shown during the live program, he had a disagreement with Fábio Gontijo and went to get a knife from the kitchen. “For putting the integrity of the villains at risk”, according to the broadcaster in a press release, he was expelled from the reality show. Other participants applauded the production’s decision.

The team of Ricardo Costa reported that the former participant’s mistake was not verbalizing the reason for taking the object. The former Thumb’s official profile also published stories reporting the singer’s point of view, claiming that Ricardo did not act at any point during the discussion and would like to tear up Fábio’s clothes.

How the discussion started

Ricardo and Fábio had an argument after Fábio, Jenny Miranda’s ex-husband, threw a wet red swim trunks at Ricardo. The piece of clothing would belong to Ricardo, who would have left it on the bed. Despite this, the ex-thumb denied that the piece was his and assessed the action as an “affront”.
