Check out who can renegotiate debts

-

The federal government announced an extension of the Desenrola Brasil program, an opportunity for those who are in default. Originally scheduled to end on March 31st, the deadline was extended for another 50 days, until May 20th.

This extension applies specifically to Track 1 of the program, which is aimed at people with an income of up to two minimum wages or registered with CadÚnico, and who have debts of up to R$20,000.

What is the Desenrola Brasil program?

Who benefits from the extension of Desenrola Brasil?

Since the launch of the Desenrola Brasil program on February 15, more than 14 million people have benefited, with the negotiation of approximately R$50 billion in debt. The platform offers significant discounts, which, on average, are 83%, and in some situations can exceed 96%. This benefit allows citizens more favorable conditions to settle their outstanding debts, offering payment options in one lump sum or in installments, with no down payment required and with up to 60 months to pay off the debt.

How to Access the Program?

For those interested in taking advantage of the advantages of Desenrola Brasil, access can be done through the official platform unfold.gov.br. To do this, you must have a GOV.BR account. However, the good news is that, for those who prefer to use partner channels, this account is not a requirement, allowing greater flexibility in the way they participate in the program.

Which companies can you negotiate with?

  • Banks
  • Financial
  • Retail business
  • Telephone operators
  • Water and energy utilities

With the extension of the deadline and easier negotiation conditions, it is expected that an even greater number of people will be able to settle their debts.
