Inmet issues warning of intense rain in Bahia

The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) released this Wednesday (27) a yellow warning of potential danger for intense rains on the coast of Bahia. More than 130 cities in the state are under the warning, including Salvador. The São-Franciscano Valley, Northeast, Central-North and South regions of the state will also be affected.

The rain may have intense winds, with the risk of power cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges being low.

For this Thursday (28) and Friday (29) the weather should remain predominantly cloudy and rainy, due to the presence of a hot and humid air mass, according to Codesal (Civil Defense of Salvador). Despite the rainy holiday, the sun should once again predominate in the State during the weekend, according to INMET.
