Due to the Good Friday holiday (29), related to the Easter period, some public departments have declared an optional day for this Thursday (28). Last Saturday (23), the Government of Rio Grande do Norte decreed an optional point for Thursday (28) for direct, indirect, autonomous and foundational public administration bodies and entities. The decision does not extend to essential services.
In Natal, Thursday will also be an optional day in public offices of the Direct, Indirect, Local and Foundational Municipal Administration. However, services declared to be of an essential health, safety, transport and inspection nature continued normally.
In Parnamirim and Mossoró, optional points were also declared in public offices this Thursday.
During the long Easter holiday, which runs from this Thursday until Sunday (31), the Blood Center of Rio Grande do Norte (Hemonorte) and the Central Unit of Therapeutic Agents (Unicat), units of the State Department of Public Health (Sesap ), will have their opening hours changed.
For those who want to take advantage of the holiday to go shopping, street shops will be closed and shopping malls must operate during special hours on Friday. According to the Chamber of Retail Managers of Natal (CDL Natal), on Saturday (30) all commerce will operate normally.

Hemonorte and Unicat
The Central Unit of Therapeutic Agents (Unicat), a service responsible for distributing medicines and supplies to health units and the population of Rio Grande do Norte, operates normally on Thursday (28) and will be open until 1pm on Saturday ( 30). On Friday (29), Unicat will be closed. The other Unicat units, in Alecrim, in Natal, and in the municipalities of Mossoró, Pau dos Ferros, Caicó, Currais Novos, Assú and Santa Cruz, operate until this Wednesday (27th) and return to normal business hours on Monday (1st).
The headquarters of the Blood Center of Rio Grande do Norte (Hemonorte), the Blood Center Dalton Cunha, in Tyrol, operates normally during the holiday, except on Friday (29). The unit highlighted in Partage Norte Shopping, in the North Zone of Natal, operates until the 28th.
