The course was divided into theoretical and practical parts and took place in the auditorium of the Detran headquarters building, on March 25th and 26th. During the training, agents were able to learn how to access national and state data systems, allowing them to search for information about vehicles with locks, restrictions, robbery, robbery and National Driving License (CNH) data digitally.
According to Detran’s deputy head of Traffic Violations Control, Viviane Farias, the use of electronic checkbooks during fines provides more efficiency and safety. She highlighted the importance of training police officers who have already completed the traffic officer training course, ensuring that they are able to issue infractions correctly.
The course had the support of Operation Lei Seca, the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) and the Highway Police Battalion (BPRv). The agents who participated in the training are from different State Military Police Battalions. Sergeant Maciel, from the 3rd Battalion of the Arapiraca PM, highlighted the importance of the course, highlighting that knowledge about the new technologies made available by Detran will facilitate the daily work of traffic agents.
Upon completion of the course, new traffic officers are prepared to deal with traffic adversities and act effectively in complying with traffic laws in the state of Alagoas. The training promoted by Detran demonstrates the agency’s commitment to ensuring safety and order in traffic, training professionals who work directly in this area.
