O Liverpool reached an agreement to hire the coach who will replace Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season. This is the Dutch Arne Slotof Feyenoordfrom the Netherlands.

“I would have considered him more, who faced and beat Guardiola in a Champions League. Tuchel followed Klopp in Mainz 05 and in Borussia Dortmund and did well. It wasn’t like that at Bayern, but you only need to look at Carlo Ancelotti and Unai Emery to recognize that the best coaches recover from setbacks,” he assessed.
“If another English club signs Tuchel, that would convince me that they would improve significantly, but my feeling is that Liverpool don’t want a manager with a reputation for being wayward. I would prefer a proven winner, who could be difficult to manage, to a manager that could be easy to manage, but still had everything to prove”, he continued.
“My main concern is this: Will Slot move to England ready to face Guardiola in the Premier League and Champions League? Liverpool’s new manager must say from the start that he is here to win, not just compete.”
