A cyclist identified as Vitória da Silva Branã (21) suffered serious injuries when she crashed her bicycle into a hole and fell violently to the ground, on the AC-40 highway, better known as the Quinari road, with 4 kilometers remaining to reach the municipality of Senador Guiomard , interior of Acre. The accident happened on Friday night (26).

According to eyewitnesses, the young woman was surprised by the obstacle on the road, resulting in an immediate fall. A basic support ambulance from the municipality of Brasiléia was passing by at the time of the incident, and rescuers quickly stopped and provided first assistance.
The severity of the injuries required advanced support ambulance 01 to be called, intercepting the initial ambulance near the Boneco de Neve ice cream shop, in the Vila Acre region.

Vitória was quickly taken to the Rio Branco Emergency Room, where she was handed over to the traumatology sector. The doctors who treated her diagnosed a possible fracture in her right arm and moderate head trauma. Despite the seriousness of the injuries, her health is considered stable.
