The Health Plan of Santa Catarina’s public servant, SC Saúde, will change. The government intends to offer the services to temporary State Servants (ACTs) and with great possibility of being extended to Municipal Servants.

It will also allow hospital admissions with an optional single room.

Another issue is the contribution to the insured. Currently, the server contributes up to 4.5% of their salary and with a limit of R$432.72 per month.

The idea is to review the contribution percentage, but bringing even more benefits.

Between active, inactive and dependents, there are 196 thousand lives in the plan. The goal is to reach double quickly.

According to the Secretary of Administration, Vânio Boing, the matter should be discussed with the other Powers and the plan’s Council by April. After completion of the study, the project will be presented to Governor Jorginho Mello.

The intention is to approve the text in 2024.
