Pernambuco in Development Seminar was held by Caruaru City Hall

Caruaru City Hall, through the Secretariat of Economic Development, Tourism, Technology and Creative Economy (Sedetec), in partnership with Exatta Pesquisa e Consultoria, held, on Monday (25), the Pernambuco in Development Seminar. The event was attended by Mayor Rodrigo Pinheiro, businesspeople, politicians and other authorities.

The event took place in the auditorium of the Federation of Industries of the State of Pernambuco (Fiepe) and aimed to identify potential for the development of the State, through the results of research in the areas of Education, Health, Public Security, Mobility and Transport, Infrastructure and Economy.

The speakers, all nationally renowned, were: the general superintendent of the Institute of Integral Medicine Professor Fernando Figueira – IMIP, Tereza Campos; the coordinator of the Logistics Committee of the National Academy of Engineering, Maurício Pina; the Economist Education consultant and Master in Public Management, with a focus on Education, and former federal deputy, Raul Henry; the director of People, Organization and Institutional Relations at Grupo Moura, Moacy Freitas; and the
CEO of Copergás, Felipe Valença.

For Mayor Rodrigo Pinheiro, the seminar was an important moment to consolidate and share the development of the State as a whole. “We are happy to share these numbers from Caruaru, which I am sure are positive”, highlighted Rodrigo. “In Caruaru, we have been investing in infrastructure and updating a master plan, so that entrepreneurs and all new ventures that arrive have a faster start, generating jobs and income”, he added.

The Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, Technology and Creative Economy, Pedro Augusto Cavalcanti, stated that the seminar was a great initiative by the City Hall together with Exatta, to understand the entire municipal and state infrastructure movement. “Caruaru City Hall is once again taking this initiative to project our municipality and everything that is happening here in our State and in Brazil, so that we can see the numbers from all the research that has been compiled and can work harder for growth municipal economy”, explained Pedro Augusto.
