The Bahia Tourism Secretariat (Setur-BA) is present at the 8th International Diversity Conference, held until this Friday (26) at the São Luís Events Center, in São Paulo. During the four days of activities, Setur-BA is promoting qualification actions for the tourist services network for the LGBTQIAPN+ public. This meeting, organized by the Brazilian LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, brings together leaders and businesspeople not only from Brazil, but also from Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Canada, the United States, Portugal and Spain, to discuss relevant topics related to travel, sports , culture and business.

“We have a wide range of attractions and show how committed Bahia is to promoting the segment, at major tourism events and fairs, in Brazil and abroad. In addition, we continually work on professional qualification, aiming to make the state a reference in providing adequate reception to the community”, pointed out the coordinator of LGBTQIAPN+ Tourism at Setur-BA, the drag queen Petra Perón.

“Since 2019, Bahia has been a great partner in our movement. The state does a wonderful job, realizing its relevance to diversity, equity and inclusion. It is very important that this is transmitted to public policies and directed to tourism”, praised the president of the Chamber, Ricardo Gomes.
