The Civil Police of Amazonas (PC-AM), through the 12th Integrated Police District (DIP), recovered 15 cell phones resulting from thefts and robberies that occurred in the capital of Amazonas. The devices were delivered to their owners this Thursday (02), at the police unit, located on Avenida Professor Nilton Lins, Parque das Laranjeiras, Flores neighborhood, central-south zone.

According to delegate Wenceslan de Queiroz, holder of the 12th DIP, there were several Police Reports (BO) registered at the police station regarding robberies and theft of cell phones. Following this, investigations began and 15 were recovered.

“We were able to locate the objects in the possession of people who had purchased the devices without knowing that they were the proceeds of crimes,” said the delegate.

Guidance

The police authority advises the population not to purchase products or any type of merchandise without an invoice, as this could be liable for the crime of receiving goods.

“People who have been victims of robbery or theft, we ask you to register the Police Report (BO) at the nearest police station so that the steps can be taken”, stated Wenceslan de Queiroz.

The 12th DIP provides the number (92) 98513-3618 for complaints. People can also contact 181, from the Amazonas Public Security Secretariat (SSP-AM). The identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
