New attorney general of the MP for Accounts of Paran takes office on Wednesday, the 8th

Gabriel Guy Lger, the new attorney general of the Public Ministry of Accounts of the State of Paraná, will take office next Wednesday (May 8), at 2 pm, in an in-person session of the Plenum of the Court of Auditors of the State of Paraná. Paran (TCE-PR). Unanimously elected by his peers and appointed by the governor, Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, Guy Lger will command the MPC-PR in the 2024-2026 period. It will be the second time that he assumes the position, which he had already held in the 2005-2006 period.

This week, the MPC-PR released an overview of the agency’s progress and achievements over the last four years, during Attorney General Valária Borba’s two consecutive terms in office (2020-2022 and 2022-2024). Divided into seven chapters, the document highlights the institution’s main actions during this period. Access the full Management Report here.

Among the advances of the four-year period, strongly marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, is the creation of specialized centers of the MPC-PR, such as the Technical Analysis Center (NAT), the Strategic Support Center (NAE) and the Communication Center ( NuCom).Another highlight was the creation of the Talk to MPC-PR channel, through which the ministerial body that works with the TCE-PR receives complaints and other demands from citizens and entities.

Gabriel Guy Lger

Curitiba native, Guy Lger is 61 years old and has been a member of the MPC-PR since May 25, 1998. Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law Curitiba, he has specializations in Law from the Cole Nacional de la Magistrature (ENM) and Cole Nationale d’Administration (ENA ), studied in France. He was attorney general in the 2005-2006 period and was part of the Superior Council of the MPC-PR in the 2014-2015 period.
