To guarantee broad assistance through vaccination, this Thursday (4), João Pessoa City Hall continues to offer all vaccines included in the National Immunization Program (PNI), in various services of the municipal health network.
The alert and call is mainly for people who need to take doses from active campaigns, which protect against Covid-19, dengue and influenza.
For Covid-19, protection can be started for children from six months of age. In the case of dengue, in Paraíba, the vaccine is recommended for children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 years, with a regimen consisting of two doses, with an interval of three months between doses.
If the user has contact with the disease before the vaccine, it is recommended to wait six months before starting the dengue vaccine regimen (attenuated).
If the infection occurs after the start of the regimen, there is no change in the interval between D1 and D2, as long as D2 is not performed less than 30 days after the onset of the disease.
As for Influenza, the vaccine is initially only being administered to people who are part of priority groups. They are: Children from 6 months to under 6 years of age (5 years, 11 months and 29 days), health workers, pregnant women, postpartum women, primary and higher education teachers, indigenous peoples, elderly people aged 60 or over elderly, homeless people, security and rescue forces professionals, Armed Forces professionals and people with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions, people with permanent disabilities, public road transport workers for urban and long-distance passengers , port workers, population deprived of liberty and employees of the deprivation of liberty system, adolescents and young people aged 12 to 21 under socio-educational measures.
All immunizers available from active campaigns (Influenza and Covid-19) can be administered simultaneously with any other that is part of the routine calendar, at any time interval, in the age group of six months of age or older.
Documentation – It is necessary to bring, in addition to the vaccination card, supporting documents for each group. Professionals who fall within the expansion of priority groups must present an identification document with a photo and proof (declaration, class council card or paycheck) of their connection with the company or institution where they work. People with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions must present a medical report.
