Labor Day: ‘Transforming Lives 2024’ action offers services at Sine AM

In celebration of Labor Day, the Government of Amazonas, through the Executive Secretariat for Labor and Entrepreneurship (Setemp), held, this Tuesday (30/04), the event “Transforming Lives 2024”. The action took place at the headquarters of Sine Amazonas, at Galeria+, located in the Chapada neighborhood, central-south area of ​​Manaus, and included the provision of services in several areas.

Services such as employment counters, beauty salons, thrift stores, Covid-19 testing, vehicle debt renegotiation, public defender actions and consumer services were the most sought after.

“We are here with a large employment pool, with various services so that workers can have a good day, where they can resolve as many issues as they feel necessary”, said the executive secretary of Setemp, Paulo Gilson.

On the occasion, a new post from the State Department of Traffic of Amazonas (Detran/AM) was delivered, with the services of CNH Renewal, annual licensing, ATPV issuance, second copy of CNH, category change and activity inclusion paid.

The technical director of Detran Amazonas, David Fernandes, spoke about the new position. “It is a strategic point to have a post here at Setemp, because the worker who comes looking for a job can now be served at the new post with the services that Detran offers, and this is all following the determination of Governor Wilson Lima”, he said.

Kedson dos Santos commented on the importance of having participated in the qualification course and having the certificate in hand to go in search of a new job opportunity. “I thank Setemp and the State Government for providing this completely free course, which qualified us to enter the job market through the vacancies made available by Sine Amazonas.”

The initiative was carried out in partnership with the State Department of Traffic of Amazonas (Detran/AM), Dra Rosemary Costa Pinto Health Surveillance Foundation (FVS-RCP), Amazonas Sanitation Company (Cosama), State Public Defender’s Office (DPE ), Procon Amazonas, Literatus College, Águas de Manaus, Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), Amazonas Energia, Protest Institute and Second Chance Institute.
