Sinthoresp was present at the XVIII Viver Mulher Seminar, organized by Contratuh, whose central theme was Women’s Mental Health. The event took place in Belo Horizonte and brought together several leaders and experts to discuss a topic of great relevance to female workers in the category.
The vice-president of Sinthoresp, Elisabete Cordeiro, represented the entity at the seminar. Alongside her were other important figures, such as the president of Sindbeleza, Maria dos Anjos Mesquita Hellmeister, Dr. Ângela Mathylde Soares, Neuropsychologist, Psychologist, Pedagogue Psychopedagogue Holder-ABPP, Cícero Lourenço Pereira from Fetrhotel, and the president of Contratuh, Wilson Pereira.
During the event, fundamental issues related to women’s mental health were addressed, highlighting the challenges faced in balancing career, personal and family life, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in this scenario. Topics such as violence, discrimination, stress and social pressures on self-esteem and body image were also discussed.
Sinthoresp’s participation in the Viver Mulher Seminar reinforces the entity’s commitment to promoting the well-being and quality of life of workers in the tourism and hospitality sector, in addition to contributing to awareness and debate on essential issues for the category.
