The group’s 51-year-old lead singer is hospitalized and is undergoing treatment for inguinal cancer in the groin area. The musician’s road friend, Claumirzinho Gomes, was in the hospital and used his social networks to update his partner’s health status.

Molejo singer resumed cancer treatment
In the “Encontro”, Andrezinho said that Anderson had a serious condition, but showed a significant improvement between last Tuesday (26) and Wednesday. However, he remained unconscious. “He improved, which cheered us up too. He woke up, sang, played with people. Then, he was sedated again, because he was very agitated. And the doctors’ diagnosis is that this is the hope that he can come back. That’s it. that we are waiting for.”
The latest medical bulletin released by the artist’s office stated that he “is hospitalized with a delicate health condition due to complications requiring medical care and with no expected discharge for now.”

Last Sunday (24), Anderson was hospitalized again in serious condition. He had been discharged on March 19 after spending 21 days in the Unimed-Rio hospital, in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of Rio. He is undergoing treatment for inguinal cancer, in the groin region.
Anderson recently underwent a hypogastric nerve plexus block procedure, which is a measure to prevent pain. The cancer in the inguinal region was discovered by him in October 2022. Two months later, the singer announced that he was cured. However, in May 2023, he said he had to resume treatment.
The hospitalization in February 2024 was to continue the immunotherapy treatment, but this time he was also feeling a lot of pain. “He has been undergoing immunotherapy treatment every 21 days”, explained members of the singer’s team.
