The Military Highway Police arrested a man with R$1 million in smuggled perfumes on MS-040, in Campo Grande, during the early hours of this Saturday (27). Teams from the Campo Grande Operational Bases and the PMR Command, from BPMRv, arrested the man who was transporting million-dollar smuggled merchandise in a truck on MS 040
According to the police, the military was approaching for traffic inspection on MS 040, around 1:30 am, when they ordered the vehicle I/RAM 2500, from Brasilândia, to stop.
The PMR team approached the vehicle and requested documentation from the driver, 35 years old, and the inspection, when they located misplaced goods in the back seat and body, such as: imported perfumes and electronic components, which later totaled 1,815 imported perfumes, 28 kits of imported perfumes, 6 Olt Huawei cards, 2 routers and 1 access module.
To the police, the man said that he did not have invoices, as he was only transporting the goods from Campo Grande to Brasilândia-MS. The vehicle and goods were sent to the Federal Police Station, as per instructions.
