Brazilians who anxiously await payment payments salary bonus can celebrate. A new group will have access to PIS/Pasep 2024 money from May 15th. Workers born in the months of May and June will benefit. The payment refers to the base year 2022.

O salary bonus payment calendar 2024 began in February, after announcement by the Ministry of Labor. At the end of the transfers, 24.8 million people got their hands on part of the R$21.9 million, in the case of PIS, and R$2.9 million for those who are members of Pasep. The deadline to withdraw the money is December 27th.
Who is entitled to the salary bonus?
Two groups can receive PIS/Pasep: workers with a formal contract, whose average monthly salary is up to two minimum wages, and public servants who have the same earnings. Domestic workers and those employed by individuals do not have access to the benefit.
But that’s not all: the worker must be registered for at least five years in the program and have carried out paid work for at least 30 days in the base year. In the case of the PIS/Pasep 2024 calendar, the reference used is the year 2022.
In addition, the employer must have provided the employee’s data in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial, also from the base year 2022.

What is the value of the 2024 salary bonus?
The calculation to know how much you will receive is simple: just multiply the time worked with a formal contract in 2022 by the minimum value of the benefit, which is R$117.66.
Therefore, following the rules, anyone who has worked a full year will receive a minimum salary bonus, currently worth R$1,412.
How to consult PIS/Pasep 2024?
Workers who want to know if they are entitled to the benefit can download the Digital Work Card app or access the Gov.br portal. Other sources for consultation include the Ministry of Labor’s customer service channels or telephone 158.
Regarding payments, in the case of PIS, they take place through the main channels of Caixa Econômica Federal. Pasep deposits are made by Banco do Brasil, via account credit, in addition to TED or PIX transfers.
