Executive Cesar Chicayban will be the new leader of the XP Private team, responsible for managing the client portfolio. He will report to José Berenguer, CEO of Banco XP.

Chicayban has over 30 years in the financial market and built his career mainly at Citi, where he was head of private bank in Brazil and the area of family offices and great fortunes in Latin America.

In recent years, he held the position of global market manager of Citi Wealth Management in New York, being responsible for the US$ 350 billion under management that the bank held from the largest American and global families.

The executive was also CEO of Vila Rica Capital, a manager specializing in alternative assets.

“I take the new position confident that there is a broad avenue for growth in the area, which is strengthened and feeds back on all other business fronts in the XP Inc. (XPBR31) ecosystem”, assesses Chicayban. “He is a reference in the market and comes to add to XP’s already strong and consolidated team, especially XP Private”, says Berenguer.
